Entry Level Room Clearing

2 Days

Teaches students the core skills they'll need to engage in life threatening situations. Industry relevant to Police, Military, and Private Security. Also intended to train armed citizens to be more effective in self defense.

This is a 2 Day course with 2 distinct classes:

  • Day 1 - Principals of Entry Level Room Clearing
  • Day 2 - Principles of Low Light Engagement

High Threat Contractor Course (HTTC)

2 Days

This course focuses on High Threat PSD Tactics not shooting fundamentals

Concealed Carry Permits


Virginia CHP

4 Hours

Our course meets the Virginia educational requirements needed to apply for your concealed handgun permit. You must submit your certificate of completion from our course with your application at your local circuit court.


DC Concealed Carry Weapon Permit Course

2 Days

This class is for DC Residents & Non Residents. This class meets the requirements necessary for students to obtain their Washington DC Concealed Carry Weapon permit. It consists primarily of classroom lecture that covers permit protocols, general do's and don'ts, legal issues, use of force laws, basic firearm safety and a review of basic marksmanship. In addition, 2 hours of Range time with a 50 round qualification course is required.

Firearms Registration is also covered in this course and required for each firearm carried in the District.


Maryland Wear and Carry

2 days / 16 hours

Wear and Carry Permit training is 16 hours of instruction for an original application and 8 hours of instruction for a renewal application. The approved training is offered by a Qualified Handgun Instructor and will include instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate gun safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy.

Designated security personnel (security guards, private detectives, special police, and armored car drivers/guards) must shoot a practical police course of at least 50 rounds, from no further than 25 yards and score at least 70% accuracy.

All other applicants must shoot a course of at least 25 rounds, from no further than 15 yards and score at least 70% accuracy.

DMV Approved - Driver Improvement Course


Driver Improvement Clinic Course

8 Hours

CCJA Driver Improvement of Fredericksburg, VA is licensed and approved by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles DMV of the Commonwealth of Virginia to perform Driver Improvement services to the general public. Driver Improvement Clinics or driver improvement courses can be mandatory court ordered or voluntary. The courts or DMV may mandate that one take a driver improvement course because of traffic violations or point accumulation. Some people choose to take the classes to reduce DMV points by 5 (five) on their driving record and thereby reduce their insurance premiums.
